About
What this map is, where the data comes from and how we check it.
Ukrainian Budapest is a free, non-commercial map of Ukrainian-run businesses, masters, services and community organisations in Budapest and its suburbs. It lists 536 places today.
A place is listed when it has a real Ukrainian link: owners or staff from Ukraine, service in Ukrainian, Ukrainian community and cultural organisations, or institutions that specifically help Ukrainians. Places aimed only at a Russian-speaking audience or owned by Russian businesses are not listed.
The data comes from public sources (websites, Google Maps, Instagram, Telegram channels, directories, press) and is checked by hand. Every description is short and factual, not advertising. Top lists are ordered by how complete the information is, never by payment.
